I must admit that I have fallen in love with the people at Bon Appétit test kitchen and that their recipes have had life improvement qualities 😉 Here is a sandwich made by Carla Music that is so delicious and crunchy. I love crunch. 😀 Here is the Youtube video, at 13:07.
When I make this sandwich I do a simplified version of it as I still have not figured out what buttermilk translates to. 🙂


Ingredients
- 2 slices whole wheat bread
- Dijon mustard
- Mayonnaise
- 1 avocado, mashed and lightly salted
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 1 carrot, peeled and grated
- 10 cm cucumber, peeled and cut into long and thin slices
- A handful of sprouts
- A drizzle of olive oil
If you want to make this sandwich vegan you could just skip the mayonnaise.
