Oatmeal with Turmeric


  • 3 dl water
  • 1 dl rolled oats
  • 1 tsp flax seeds
  • A dash of ground turmeric
  • A pinch of salt
  • Pumpkin seeds for toppings
  • Coconut oil for frying
  • Fried banana for topping


Add the water, rolled oats, flax seeds, turmeric and salt to a saucepan and boil together at medium heat.

In a skillet, add in the coconut oil. Cut the banana in pieces lengthwise. Fry them at medium temperature until brown. The sugar in the banana will make them brown quickly so pay attention. 🙂

In a bowl, pour in your oatmeal and add your toppings. 🙂
